The Hawks are riding Saturday

The route will be toward Lake Lure, Hickory Nut Gap, and possibly Black Mountain. Anyone and everyone is welcome.

Meet at the Exxon  in Rutherfordton at 10:00 am. Eric does not want to be out too long due to him having to leave early Sunday for New Jersey.

Hey everyone!!!

I "may" be in Saturday since you're heading up to lake lure... if you guys don't mind waiting up for me at the end! lol Tongue

If I'm feeling ok by then, I'd like to go.  Been sick w/the crud.

Would we still meet that the 321 gas station?  I don't know how to get to the other place.

Paintballer I see you live in Shelby so you need to meet the group at 10 am at the Exxon in Rutherfordton. It is at the intersection of 74 by pass, main street, and Railroad Avenue. Across from the Exxon is KFC, Eckerds, and McDonalds, also there is a Waffle house beside the Exxon.  See you there and Welcome to the boards.

I've gotta work for a little while in the am, so I'm not going to be able to make it.

I'll definitely be checking back for posts of the "next ride".

Thanx for the directions Angie, I'll keep them for future reference!

Be safe and have fun everyone!!!!

no problem Andy. If no one posts up that they are definately going in the morning, then there will be no meeting at the Exxon in the morning. We will ride but may ride out later in the afternoon.

Gosu I'd like to do a track day with yas, but I am just not equipped for it. Need some better tires, back protector, would pref a 1 piece suit. Hoping I can do one of the schools this year at VIR or CMP.

sounds good, just let me know!  My friends and i do most of our track days through NESBA, but i've done a couple through Team Promotion, and they put on a good knowledgble class for first time track go'ers.  NESBA doesnt really offer a class, but they do have riders out there to help you.  I'd suggest tring to do your frist track day through Team Promotions like at VIR North Course.  You'll learn a lot and have the time of your life at the same time!!!  But yeh, let me know if ya wanna go with us sometime and anyone else intrested, your more then welcome to tag along!  We're going to Road A Easter weekend and taken one of our friends with us for his first track day experience as well!  He is in for a TREAT FOR SURE !!!
